Hi! I'm Paige Caldecoat, a 23-year-old sailor from Sydney, Australia, currently campaigning in the 49erFX class.

I'm a World Champion sailor and a multiple-time National Champion across a range of sailing classes. Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated my life to becoming one of Australia’s top racing sailors—and now, I’m focused on my biggest challenge yet: qualifying for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

My Sailing Journey

Sailing has taken me from local club races to world titles, and every step of the journey has sharpened my skills, resilience, and racing instincts. I’ve achieved podium results in classes ranging from ILCA and J/70s to SB20s, giving me a strong tactical foundation and the ability to adapt across different platforms.

Now, I’ve stepped into the Olympic-class 49erFX—a skiff that demands speed, precision, and an entirely new level of commitment. The transition has been intense, but my goal remains the same: perform at the highest level and represent Australia on the world stage.

My Goal: Represent Australia at LA 2028

My ultimate aim is to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games and race in the 49erFX fleet against the best sailors in the world. With every training session, international regatta, and debrief, I’m building towards this goal with discipline and purpose.

This isn’t just a dream—it’s a campaign built on proven results, hard work, and a long-term high-performance plan.
