Visit websitePerth Cricket Club (PCC) is the longest-standing cricket club in Western Australia. Established in May 1862, there are several well-known players who have represented our great club including Dennis Lillee, Adam Gilchrist and Luke Ronchi. The Club relocated from the WACA ground to its current location at Fletcher Park, Carlisle, in 1968. PCC has 42 life members and has provided a fantastic environment for West Australian and Australian cricketers to develop and thrive for over 160 years.
Financially, we rely on sponsors, grants, and supporters to maintain and improve our facilities.
At the end of the 2021/22 season we replaced half of the turf wicket blocks at a cost of $109k. In the 2022/23 financial year (year ending 30th April 2023), the club incurred a net loss of ~$85k due to the expenses relating to wicket and block upgrades. In the 2023/24 financial year, the club incurred a further loss of ~$85k largely due to the upgrade of the 40-year-old training nets to ensure they adhered to safety and quality standards.
Feedback from players has made it clear that there are still club facilities which are dated and unsafe. This includes the East Training and Centre Wicket Blocks which are anticipated to cost more than $150k.
There are several other major improvements that the Club would, and should, make over the next five years, along with general ongoing maintenance and other minor improvements.
The Infrastructure Upgrade Fund aims to build the cash balance to enable PCC to make these improvements and continue to develop future cricket players of Australia using these upgraded facilities. We offer this tax effective process which is fully deductible as a donation to every individual who contributes and the Club receives 100% of the proceeds. Please donate to help make PCC stronger.
