Our Focus at PGA

High Performance. PGA is home to some of the country's most exciting emerging national and international gymnasts. To help them achieve their fullest potential, we are seeking support to help us provide them with essential services that AIS had previously funded, and to ensure that our coaches are able to travel with and support our athletes at interstate and international events. National and international gymnasts dedicate significant training hours over many years (upward of 25 hours per week).

To ensure that athletes develop and perform to their fullest capability, they require wrap around services, such as

•highly specialised coaches, Physiotherapy, •strength and conditioning, •nutrition, and physiology

•Travel to competitions and camps in other States or countries throughout their gymnastic journey and this can start as young as 10 years of age. 

Development. Fundamental to establishing and maintaining a community club and pathway for young gymnasts, we are invested in the development of grass roots community. Building connections and a love for active living is central to our whole of club approach. We are keen to build this culture with our 480+ members, showing all of our athletes they can strive to achieve personal goals through sport, accessing alternate pathways depending on their personal journey.

This approach requires dedicated resources to ensure that our pathways and programs cater to the wider audience and are accessible to all.
