In October we are sending our U15 NPL squad to Malaysia to compete in the 2022 Malaysia Borneo Football Cup. This will give our players the opportunity to showcase their skills at an international level.

Perth Soccer Club have been supporting youth football development since 1948. Our success has been built on our values of integrity, respect, ambition, effort, teamwork and community. These are the values that were instilled in us by our founders – a group of Italian migrants from the WA Italian Club – and still hold true today.

Our founders, many of who were in a new country to build a new life, used football to socialise and become part of the local community.

They named the club Azzurri, which still remains the nickname of Perth SC today – pointing to our Italian migrant heritage.

Perth Azzurri was not only highly successful on the pitch – winning an abundance of trophies and developing thousands of talented players – it became part of the social and cultural fabric of the community.

Many friendships, relationships, marriages and business partnerships formed and blossomed at Perth Azzurri, and lifelong bonds with the club were passed on to the next generation.

The children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of some of our founding members are still active participants in our club today.

While proud of our Italian heritage, the club has opened its doors to the broader community. We have players from various ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds playing at Perth SC and have also hosted other sports such as rugby league and gridiron at Dorrien Gardens.

Perth SC has produced a number of players who have gone on to represent Australian national teams at both youth and senior levels and become professional footballers and international players in their own right.

More importantly, Perth SC has played a key development role in thousands of young men and women that have become active and positive contributors in our local community.

Perth SC has evolved over more than 70 years, but we remain true to our values and our purpose to make our members better players and better people.

This is why we will continue to create lifelong members and supporters of our club, who will pass on their love and passion for Perth SC to the next generation.
