My name is Peter Berens and this will be an opportunity to participate in my first National level swimming competition. I have been selected to represent School Sports Victoria at this meet, and be a part of the Team Vic Secondary Level Swim Team. This has been a goal that I have worked towards for a number of years, training 6-7 days per week. This competition would benefit my development in this sport because it will give me invaluable experience at swimming away from home at an elite competition level, I will better understand who my competitors are when I compete at this level and I will be able to continue my training at home to focus on my future in the sport I love.
