The club has unanticipated debt due to restricted revenue activity associated with Covid. The club had planned to have this debt paid prior to the upcoming planned demolition and construction of women friendly facilities. The club is very much a community club and is growing to support greater inclusion of the community. We now have senior and junior womens teams, into their 3rd season, and we host a number of regular community events, such as Sudanese Parents and Students Study Club (in partnership with BSL and local Secondary College) and PROBUS meetings as well as having 3 senior football teams, and 4 netball teams. The club has a supporter base of around 1500, who individually subscribe to our social media and newsletter communications. Our paid up membership base is more modest at around 400 but it is growing. In order to support our seasonal activities the club has a schedule of events planned as well as other revenue streams associated with operating the business as usual season. Anticipating we will be unable to have gate revenue for a full season we need to start off debt free so we have a strategy to offer supporters opportunity to do some tax planning before the end of June using the ASF donation to assist our club. Our supporters are the greatest and although many are of moderate means we know that they can be counted on when needed. The ASF donations aren't expecting large individual amounts. It's more like "many to provide a little, adds up to a lot". Thanks
