Piper has trained with Great Lakes Cheerleading since 2020, and began competing in 2021. From a Netballer with an interest in Gymnastics, to a fully committed cheerleader in 12 months, Piper has quickly become a valuable athlete in her gym- being awarded the Champion Minded Athlete of the Year in 2023. Piper has also developed and thrived with leadership roles in her team and the gym, being asked to assist in lower level teams and becoming a role model for younger athletes, not only with her athletic skills but also her loving, caring, and professional nature.

When her gym announced the possibility of a USA team of our own for 2025 Infinity- The Finals, The Youth Summit, and the newly announced "G'day USA" powered by Cheercon; Piper was immediately interested. Piper has been so excited to train and compete with both athletes from her 2024 team, the Barracudas, and our Gym's Level 1 Team, the Electric Eels to make this dream a reality!

Piper will have a T-shirt in honour of this fundraiser and everyone involved to wear on her USA trip!
