This project involves the development of a system of sealed cart paths around the course. The first stage of this project was fulfilled with a bequest from respected member the late Jack Carr. Jack was very perceptive to identify this project because motorised carts have become an important service requirement – being frequently requested by visiting golfers, and most importantly to assist our older members to continue playing the sport we all enjoy. Jack used a cart over his later years and realised without a proper path system they can be very damaging to the course. He also saw that a well-constructed path system can enhance the landscape opportunities and protect adjoining native vegetation.

Jack’s bequest enabled about 40% of the paths to be completed, and as foreshadowed in the Club's Strategic Plan, the Board are planning to seal the remaining paths and bring to reality Jack’s aspiration of a network of well-constructed paths. After working with our course architects OCM we have finalised the next two stages of the program to finalise the paths by the end of 2022/23 – weather permitting.

Stages 2 and 3 will ensure that all paths are finalised as per the Master Plan with Stage 2 works beginning in the short term and Stage 3 works planned for April/May 2023 to coincide with additional course works proposed by OCM in that period. The key areas to be dealt with in Stage 3 will be the finalisation of the paths around the 9th tee; the 15th tee, the 6th green and 7th fairway which need to be overseen by OCM.

A plan of the course showing Stages 2 and 3 is available on the Club’s web site and in the clubhouse for viewing.
