Ruby has been a natural sportsperson since a young age. She has enjoyed and excelled at all kinds of different sports she has tried her hand at, including soccer, gymnastics, roller derby, swimming, athletics and cross country running.

It is the latter two of those, swimming and running, however, that have seen her participate at the higher levels within the school sport organisation.

She has consistently made the regional swimming events for the previous four years, qualifying in various events, such as freestyle in 50, 100, and 200m, Relay, Breaststroke and Backstroke. She has made regional level for athletics in 800m, 1500m, and high jump.

In Cross Country, she has made regional level consistently, and in 2019 ran at the NSW State competition.

Ruby loves any sport she has a go at; however, she thrives, and achieves most when she is competing as a solo competitor. She is a great endurance athlete and has the stamina, consistency, and technique to maintain a solid performance over longer distances. With these abilities in mind, Ruby hopes to make a significant impact into the sport of Triathlon, with the ultimate goal of reaching the Olympic games.
