The Victorian Elite Pathways Programs, supported by Rugby Australia and the Melbourne Rebels, see young talent able to participate in exceptional representative programs from the age of eleven.

Every donation made to the Elite Pathways Program through the Forever in Union Foundation will help progress the next wave of local Victorian players as they progress towards a career in professional Rugby, right here at home in Victoria.

In 2023, Rugby Victoria is proud to facilitate State Representative Teams in the below age groups:

• U11s (Mixed Team)
• U12s (Boys Team)
• U13s (Boys Team)
• U14s (Boys Team)
• U14s (Girls Team)
• U16s (Boys Team)
• U16s (Girls Team)
• U18s (Boys Team)
• U18 (Girls Team)
• 'Victorian Axemen' (Senior Mens State Team)
• Victoria Womens State Representative Team

By being involved in the Victorian Elite Pathways, players will:

• Further develop their core skills and game sense
• Gain knowledge of best practice training techniques, strength and conditioning and nutrition
• Receive support for the journey to become a professional athlete, including player welfare and life skills
• Receive regular feedback and communication from Elite Pathways Coaching staff to ensure personal and team targets are reached
