Next month I will be heading to Europe to compete in the youth match racing world championships as part of the team from the CYCA before then competing in the 29er world championships with my skipper Jacob Marks. I am highly dedicated to the sport of sailing and wish to compete to my absolute best at both events.

I am proud to be a part of the team from the CYCA and to represent the club and Australia at the Youth Worlds in Pornichet France at the end of July. Myself and the team have been very busy over the last nine months with a lead up of regattas and training. We have just recently won the Hardy Cup and Harken Youth International regattas. I am hopeful that we can perform to our best at the event and do everyone proud.

Along with the match racing myself and Jacob Marks have been competing in the 29er for over a year now. After a few years of covid I am excited to compete in my first major international 29er regatta being the world championships in El Balis, Spain. We have had an up and down season so far with a covid family contact cutting our Sail Melbourne short before it even started but coming back strong to win the State championships.

There are numerous expenses involved in getting to and competing in such high level events.
