2023 International Judo Tournaments

$9,000.00

2023 is my last year as a junior and it is looking to be a big year of travel and competitions. The first international trip of the year is to Bosnia and Herzegovina for a Junior European Cup and training camp and then onto Germany for the Thuringia Cup and another training camp. This is following the Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne International Opens and training camps in early 2023.

Further international trips scheduled for juniors throughout 2023 include Pan-American Championships being held in Canada and World Championships in Portugal.

Having the opportunity to compete in as many of these European Cups as possible will place me in the right trajectory for the next step into senior level competitions in 2024.

Judo Australia provides some funding but does not cover the expense of these trips. With full time study on top of my training commitments, it can be difficult to work enough to cover the cost of these necessary international trips. Any contribution is greatly appreciated as it helps me to focus on the training required to reach the highest levels.

Thanks!!
