In 2024, the Frontline Safari raised an incredible $10,077!
The Frontline Safari is an annual adventure motorcycle tour run by ADF veterans, taking participants through the heart of central Australia. But it’s more than just an adventure—it’s a mission to support the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project (SVSP).
All funds raised by participants are directly donated to SVSP, ensuring complete transparency and accountability. Frontline Safari does not handle or manage these funds; instead, every dollar raised goes straight into supporting our vital sailing initiatives.
About SVSP
The Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project is powered by a passionate team of volunteers, united in their commitment to serving the veteran community. Our vision is to provide life-changing opportunities for veterans to reconnect and re-engage through the camaraderie and transformative power of sailing.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive community through monthly sailing activities across the nation. Our aim is to improve the health and wellness of current and former service personnel and their families. By reducing social isolation and creating a safe, welcoming environment, we help veterans rediscover purpose and build lasting connections.
Our Key Objectives
- Meaningful Engagement: Veterans supporting each other and the broader community through initiatives like the Making Waves Foundation and training opportunities that can lead to future employment.
- Psychosocial Reintegration: Reducing social isolation for veterans facing mental health challenges or physical injuries through inclusive programs and a skilled, dedicated volunteer base.
2024 Achievements
In 2024, thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers and participants, we:
✅ Facilitated 122 activities across eight locations around Australia, including Sydney, Adelaide, Newcastle, Nowra, Mooloolaba, Darwin, Geelong, and more.
✅ Welcomed 1,050 participants to our events.
This incredible growth highlights the expanding reach and impact of SVSP, and we’re excited to make 2025 even bigger and better!
Why Your Support Matters
By empowering veterans to be part of the crew, SVSP is building a sustainable, independent veteran community. Our programs provide opportunities for veterans to give back, forge meaningful connections, and thrive alongside their peers and the wider community.
