I’m honored to have been selected to represent Australia at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago and World Junior Track Cycling Championships in Cali, Colombia. I’m looking forward to wearing the green and gold and representing Australia (and of course Tassie).

About me

I have been training and racing my bike on the velodrome and road since I was 12. I started as an U13 at Track Sprockets with the Launceston City Cycling Club. My first road races were the LCCC summer series and the Mersey Valley Mini Tour. I also ran competitively going to Nationals a few times to represent Tassie.

I have travelled interstate regularly to compete at Junior Road Tours and the National Junior Track Series. They were a lot of fun and important to gain skills. They also helped cement my ambition to race to the very highest level I can.

A cycling accident in the lead up to 2022 Road and Track Nationals put me out of action for a few months missing both Championships. My first significant race post injury was at the Tour of Tropics National Road Series in 2022 where I placed second overall in the U19 category and won Silver at the Queensland U19 Road race a few weeks later. Since then I have raced consistently, getting results on road and track.

Based on my results I was contracted as a member of Team Bridgelane this year and race for the team as a stagiaire for National Road Series races. I am also a Tasmanian Institute of Sport scholarship recipient and have national emerging cyclist classification. I am coached by Jordan Kerby who is an Olympic Gold medallist himself.

At the 2023 National Track Championships, I became the National U19 Scratch Race Champion and National U19 Team Pursuit Champion with three others and won silver in the Individual Pursuit and silver Madison with Alex Eaves.

These results earned me selection to represent Australia at these International Championships and I’d love to get some results at both championships.

About the events

I am attending the Commonwealth Youth Games 4-11 August in Trinidad and Tobago and Junior World Track Championships August 23-27 in Cali, Colombia. I will be focussing on individual events such as the Individual Pursuit, bunch races and hopefully Madison.

The costs for this are considerable and mostly paid by me and my family so contributions would be most appreciated. I really appreciate everyone who has supported me to this point and look forward to representing you and the country well.
