Bobteam Blizzard has had a really successful first season, including some podiums and of course, qualifying for our first World Championships! Between myself, Nat, Lauren and Desi we have had some consistent results with a few outstanding ones, which has given us a lot of experience and helped our development both as individual athletes as well as a team. Thanks to last season, we will have a World Cup quota sport, meaning we will finally be able to make our World Cup debut!

The upcoming season will involve a mix of races from the Europe Cup and World Cup circuit, to ensure we are getting experience from the higher level as well as across different tracks. With the 2026 Winter Olympics getting close, this higher level competition is going to be important for the whole team to get exposure to, as well as for the team to start developing a game plan for the following season. We are also aiming to qualify for World Championships at the end of season, which are in Lake Placid, USA. The goal is to better results from last season, which we all believe is achievable.

The cost of season is already fairly high, but adding in the travel to get to World Champs and further rental of equipment is going to add quite a lot to the cost of season. However, World Champs are a vital part of the season when it comes to experience, exposure and the chance to receive some funding. We are determined to make it happen and are excited by the opportunity.
