About the project
Sarah dreamed of representing Australia since starting Little Athletics as a 6 year old. She continued pursuing this dream until a serious water skiing accident left her with permanent injuries in her right leg, many years later Sarah returned to athletics and in October 2016 became classified for para athletics.
Sarah made her debut for Australia at the 2017 World Para Athletic Championships in London where she earned a Bronze in the Women’s F44 Discus. She then went on to the 2019 World Championships where she won a silver medal.
At the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics Sarah won a bronze medal with a new Oceania record of 37.85m.
