The South Australian Wheelchair Basketball Association (SAWBA) is a non for profit association seeking to enrich the lives of our members through sport and recreation.

South Australia has a rich history in Wheelchair Basketball, having successfully competed on a national stage for decades. That was until changes to disability sport delivery and governance resulted in wheelchair basketball slowly defunded to the point of collapse. Three years ago SAWBA was founded by a handful of passionate volunteers with the goal to get South Australia back on the wheelchair basketball map. SAWBA now has a thriving membership and runs a weekly social league, development program, and active mini's program (under 13 years old).

Last year with the help of sponsors we sent out first Juniors team for many years to the Kevin Coombs Cup (KCC) in Ballarat. This was a great experience for all that were involved and the team had a great outcome reaching the Bronze Medal game.

This fundraising project is to assist with costs associated with our Juniors (13 - 25) attending the 2023 KCC tournament in Queensland.

• Car Hire
• Any Equipment and Maintenance Costs
• Other Associated Travel Costs
