Visit websiteThis year, all proceeds will be going to 17 year old Tamsyn McConnell & her family from Minnie Waters.
Tamsyn was involved in a life changing motor vehicle accident in September 2022 in which she was ejected from the car & now has severe spinal cord injury & also a brain injury.
Tamsyn is 1 of 6 kids & when the accident happened both parents had to quit work to be by her side. They lived in a tent near the Gold Coast hospital as it was all they could afford & a few weeks later she was moved to Sydney, her Dad Scott went back home to look after the other kids while her mother Tiffany stayed by her side. Tiff still lives in a tent not too far from the Rehab Centre in Sydney & every weekend Scott packs up the other 5 & drives to Sydney so their family can be together as much as possible.
We are again asking businesses or whoever can help out to dig deep for the McConnell family to not only help their family be together but to help Tamsyn on this journey she has ahead of her.Tamsyn still has a lot more time left to go in Ryde Royal Rehabilitation Centre learning how to move her body and learn how to communicate again.
