Hello!

My name is Sergei Evglevski. I am 26 years old and my whole life I have lived and breathed the sport of shooting. I am now on a mission to succeed at the Paris 2024 OLYMPIC GAMES.

I am a dual Olympian, Commonwealth Games silver medalist, three-time Oceanic champion, World cup silver medalist and national champion.

I was raised within this sport. Mum was an absolute legend of the sport, being a 6 time olympian (with a bronze medal from the Sydney 2000 games in her back pocket), multiple World Cup, World championships Commonwealth Games gold medalist and honestly the best mum ever. My dad worked for the Sydney 2000 Games Shooting team as the gunsmith and supported the shooting team to one of their most successful Games ever. He clearly doesn't hold a candle to mum but he's still pretty great.

Having a rich shooting background like mine, it was obvious I had to take up the sport, right? So thats exactly what I did. I picked up the gun when I was 12 and loved every second of it. In a few short years I competed at my first ISSF Junior world cup in Germany and walked away proud with a bronze medal. I was the first pistol shooter to ever win a medal in a Junior world cup. As I stood on that podium, I knew then and there that one day I could be standing on the podium at the Olympic games.

My preparation for the Paris Olympic games has been intense. It has included training camps overseas, back to back competitions, world cups and training camps interstate. However it has all been essential to my performance. I do not want to leave the games saying "What if i did this?" or "If only I did that before I left". I am here to give it my all.

Preparing for these games has unfortunately come at a high financial cost and I am seeking your help to alleviate the financial pressures inherent in our sport and the costs I have endured. These costs include training expenses, travel expenses, equipment and unpaid leave.
