Shayla Williams is an up and coming Football player who has played soccer since the young age of 4. She currently plays for Brisbane City Football Club as part of the Womens program with her last 3 years being a part of the QAS program.

After competing in the National Youth Championships late 2022 she was invited to attend several Junior Matilda's training camps. Her success as a Forward in these camps has lead her to be selected in the Junior Matilda's squad to compete in the AFC Round 1 Qualifiers in Mongolia. Shayla performed extremely well and managed her first International goal!

Shayla continues to train with the Junior Matilda's and attended an International Series against Korea Republic in June.

Then in October she travelled to Wollongong as part of the U16 Qld team in the National Youth Championships.

Shayla is currently completing her Senior Schooling through TAFE QLD which is giving her the flexibility around her training schedule.

Shayla has once again been selected to represent QLD at the NYC in Melbourne in July 2024.

Money raised will help her continue to prepare for future competitions to give her every opportunity to succeed and achieve at the highest level.
