About the project

The Shepparton United Football Netball Club is in 15 teams: Men’s Seniors, Reserves, Thirds Under 18s, 2 x Under 16s, 2 x Under 14s, Youth Girls, A Grade, B Grade, B Res, 2 x 17 & 2 x Under, 15s. Our aim today, some 69 years since our formation, is to continue to build on the solid foundations of those who have come before us, and ensure the revered traditions of our proud Club remain strong.

The cost of running a community football/netball club continues to rise each year, with expenses approaching over $150,000 per year. Major costs we have on an annual basis include;

  • AFL Vic Country Affiliation fees ($11,000)
  • Football Department ($180,000)
  • Ground Rental ($15,000+)

Whilst we have great support from sponsors and Club members, our growth and progress up the grades is confined by our limited budget and so the Shepparton United Foundation was born.

We have partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) to enable all donations to the Shepparton United Foundation to be fully tax deductible.
