The development of the recreation and events centre for the Corrigin community will include four sets of change rooms, a gymnasium/crŒ�eche facility, office space, indoor court space, a squash court and large function room serviced by a large kitchen facility.
It will provide an improved service offering to the Corrigin community through the provision of new, modern facilities which will better meet the needs of sport and recreation users. The development of this centre will support to local sport by ensuring that clubs have a home ground into the future, attract new members to the clubs and helping to revitalise sports and recreation membership in the region. Clubs will be able to continue to operate kitchen and bar facilities to augment membership revenues improving their financial position and ensure that they are sustainable into the future. The centre will also provide a new venue for community meetings as well as business or private functions.
