Sierra is currently engaged in a fundraising effort to secure the necessary funds for participating in Athletics and Surf Lifesaving events and carnivals across various locations in Australia.

Having achieved remarkable feats by breaking multiple longstanding records in the 100m sprint category in Central Queensland, Sierra has proven herself capable of competing at a national level.

However, in order to reach that stage, Sierra must participate in numerous qualifying events. For track and field, the journey includes traveling to Rockhampton, Mackay, Brisbane, and eventually Tasmania for the Nationals.

Similarly, Surf Lifesaving competitions require Sierra to travel to multiple destinations.

This year alone, she competed in Tannum Sands, Yeppoon, and Agnes Water. Subsequently, she participated in the SLSQ junior state championships held in Mooloolaba, where she secured an impressive 4th place finish in Beach Sprints.

As one can imagine, the costs associated with these endeavors are substantial. Expenses such as accommodation, fuel, uniforms, entry fees, and the need to take time off from work all contribute to the financial burden faced by Sierra.
