SLGC Irrigation Upgrades - Winter 2023

SLGC Irrigation Upgrades - Winter 2023

Raised

$2,414.00

Goal

$5,500.00

Over the next few months we will be looking to do some irrigation upgrades looking to get ready for another irrigation season. We would like to replace green side sprinklers on 5 different greens 3,4,6,11,15 this would improve efficacy, water usage and uniformity resulting in a much more consistent green surface. This will also reduce the need to hand water these greens regularly during summer.

Also with the old sprinklers that are taken out from the greens we will be able to replace all of the old clackers that are still on some fairways and driving range that will also improve the quality of turf in those areas.

To name just a few benefits

  • Uniformity
  • Water efficiency
  • Performance (especially in the wind)
  • Reliability

  • Golf
