South Melbourne Women's Football Club runs community-based women's soccer programs at Albert Park Lake for girls aged U9 and up, and shares facilities, grounds and equipment with South Melbourne FC's National Premier League women's teams (U13, U15, U17, U19 and Seniors).

The Club relies on members and friends to support its annual operational budget, leasing grounds and clubrooms, maintaining and replacing equipment and providing skilled coaches as part of a safe training environment.

We have set up a fundraising campaign to replace all the Club's goals. A severe weather event in April damaged some of the older and lighter equipment, which had also suffered wear and tear being carried in and out up to four times a week. The new goals will be high quality wheeled models, minimising future wear and the risk of injury to players and volunteers.

This is an important project as we embark on the next stage of development at the Club. While have applied for several government grants to cover part of the cost of this investment, but are also relying on Club families and friends to contribute.
