Supporting the future of rugby in the Southern Districts

The Rebels Foundation, in partnership with Australian Sports Foundation, gives our community a way to invest in and support the future of the Southern District Rugby Club and the wider region

Our foundation contributes funding to the club, to make sure that it remains financially strong into the future. It supports our strategic initiatives, and will help us evolve, thrive and dominate both on-field and off for years to come.

But our success depends on your support.

Priorities

As we look to the future, we want to leave not just a professional legacy, but a community legacy as well.

That’s why you’ll find a strong focus on junior support in our 2020-2023 Strategic Plan. As our Shute Shield side benefits from our foundation so will our grassroots junior clubs, through access to grants.

As a club, our focus on community sets us apart. We not only produce professional athletes, but do our best to support our everyday rugby players who are a wonderful part of our local community.

Other funding priorities for The Rebel's Foundation are in line with the 2020-2023 Strategic Plan. The plan covers all aspects of the club, including junior growth, governance, rugby operations, finance, philanthropy and community engagement.

There are a number of ways that you can contribute to the foundation.

Make a one-off donation

Become a donor by making a stand-alone, tax-deductible donation.

We accept donations of any size.

If you donate $200 or more, you will be recognised and acknowledged as one of Southern Districts Plus 200 Donors on our website and social media.

Join the Rebel’s First XV

Become a Rebel's First XV member with a requested donation of $10,000. Help leave a lasting legacy at Southern Districts.
