The Souths Rugby Union Foundation has been established to ensure the long-term sustainability of Souths Rugby Union Club and it’s players. 

Our motto; A Magpie for All; ensures that members of the Souths Rugby Union community have access to play rugby now and into the future. 

We believe in the development of players of all gender, age, ability, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The Foundation is here to support our players, our club and our community.

Souths Rugby Union Foundation supports fundraising initiatives for the club via the Australian Sports Foundation.

In 2023 Souths Rugby Club celebrates its 75th Year in operation.

To mark this historical milestone, we have established "The 75 Club".

"The 75 Club" presents you with a unique opportunity support the club's development and future, leaving a lasting legacy within the Souths community.

Membership into "The 75 Club" is limited.

In recognition of your valuable contribution of (min.) $1,000 your name will be displayed on a plaque in the new clubhouse serving as a testament to your dedication and support to the club.

All donations are tax deductible via receipt from the Australian Sports Foundation.

Funds from the Foundation will be added to more than $700,000 already sourced in government grants.

These funds will support:

• Capital Works for expansion at Chipsy Wood to enable the future sustainability for the club
• Maintenance and Capital works at Shaftesbury Street Oval
• Players under severe and significant hardship who require financial aid to support their membership at the club
• Grass roots programs within schools to support membership at a junior level
• Coaching resources
• Specialised Rugby Equipment
• Player of the Year Incentive Awards (membership fees for one year)
• Rugby Tours Fundraising Support
