About

Aspiring Athletes Inspiring Their Communities: Sporting Chance Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to help aspiring athletes from the Indigenous community realise their full potential following a sporting injury.

Sporting Chance Foundation wants to minimise the stumbling block a musculoskeletal injury presents to a young athlete and keep them on the path to success.

The Foundation will provide these athletes access to the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal services they require to enable them to stay on the sports field.
This will include assisting the individual through:
- all phases of pre-op care
- surgery
- follow-up – including comprehensive rehabilitation
- post-op rehabilitation education and ongoing injury prevention management

In the process of helping individuals, Sporting Chance Foundation’s ultimate goal is to create enduring and meaningful change within the athlete's communities through the medium of healthy and positive role models. It is envisaged that this will not only improve the engagement of Indigenous youth in the sport that they are passionate about, but it will also encourage a positive relationship between them, the community and already available medical services.

Please make a tax deductible donation today and support the Sporting Chance Foundation.
