The Queensland Sharks are the most successful junior squash team in Australia. Out of 17 appearances at the Australian Junior Championships, since 2003, the Sharks have won 15 championship titles. Twice runners up in 2003 and 2017. (Source: Australian Junior Championships-Team Champions - Squash Australia) A number of previous squad members have been identified as national talent athletes competing internationally and have represented Australia at events such as the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The team is made up of boys and girls aged 9 to 18, representing their clubs in SEQ and regional Queensland, who will travel to Daisy Hill to defend their title against teams from ACT, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.

Our athletes travel regularly to compete at local, regional and international events to develop their skills and acquire the required points to improve their national ranking.

We are asking for your support to help towards the team's expenses off court, such as, transport, accommodation, meals and uniforms, so that the team can focus on what they need to do on court to defend their championship title.
