About the project

Whilst badminton is considered a minority sport in Australia, the popularity of badminton at St Peter’s College is significant with over 150 students enrolled in our program.

For many students at Saints, badminton has offered a means of leading a healthier and more fulfilling school life. Our program is home to students of all different abilities and backgrounds and provides a range of opportunities and training environments to keep all boys engaged and improving.

Our vision is to become the premier badminton school in Australia and to grow our program to a level where it is considered equal with other high-profile sports at St Peter’s College.

We have reached capacity in terms of student numbers relative to our resources and to achieve our vision, we need your help!

Whether you are an old scholar, a family member, a friend or just a badminton enthusiast please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our program. No amount is too small.

Funds raised will be used to:

-      Improve the existing badminton facilities in terms of visibility and line markings

-      Create and develop the St Peter’s Badminton Academy to complement the school program

-      Recruit and upskill coaches to meet the demands of the program and academy

-      Offer interstate/international training and tournament opportunities to our students

If you have any questions regarding the St Peter’s College badminton program please contact Head of Badminton, Stuart Rowlands (srowlands@stpeters.sa.edu.au).
