The Australian Women's Box Lacrosse team is heading to New York, USA to compete in the first Women's Box Lacrosse World Championship. As a minority sport we receive no government funding and the campaign is completely self funded by the players, coaches and support staff. Everyone works full time jobs as well as completes training sessions as a team, in the gym and also running and wall ball sessions. It is a huge time and financial commitment- but the team will be striving to bring home a medal.
