About the project

In 2012 the organisation committed to purchase 24 acres at North Arm to establish a specialised equestrian facility to enable those members of the Sunshine Coast region with disabilities a place where they can participate in various horse related activities. With various generous donations from individuals, celebrities, other service clubs, successful grants from Juipters Casino Community Benefit Fund and Qld National Parks Sport, Recreation and Racing have enabled us to build a 90m x 31m covered arena. It is our intention to raise funds to complete the next stage of building which is the clubhouse. As the current rider preparation/waiting area is a dirt floor, the new clubhouse will change the way we operate dramatically. It will also give riders, parents, visitors and volunteers the required toilets, showers, canteen facilities that they so deserve. The current composting toilet and 'outhouse' is less than adequate. Better facilities will benefit equestrian participation in our region significantly. Please make a tax deductible donation today and support us in changing the lives of people with a disability through sport.
