The Sydenham Hillside Cricket Club compete in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association & North West Metropolitan Cricket Association and is based at Hillside Recreational Reserve in Melbourne's North West.

In the upcoming 2023/24 season, we are looking to field teams in the following categories:

Playing in the VTCA (Victorian Turf Cricket Association)

3 x Senior Men’s teams

2 x Senior Ladies Team

1 x Under 18s boys Team

Playing in the NWMCA (North West Metropolitan Cricket Association)

3 x Senior Men’s teams

2 x Under 16 boys teams

1 x Under 16 girls team,

3 x Under 14 boys teams

1 x Under 14 girls team

3 x Under 12 boys teams

1x Under 12 girls teams

3 x Under 10s boys teams

1 x Under 10s girls teams

With so many costs increasing, the committee are dedicated and motivated to keep fees low and affordable.

We are looking to start a fundraising activity with funds going to the following:

• Junior and Senior Match balls

• Increase investment in our Female programs. 

• Wicket repair

• Upgrade to honour boards

• Capital equipment 

• SHCC Cricket Academy

Considering that Match balls and Team Entry alone last year cost over $16,000, this is a significant amount to cover without raising Membership fees.
