Sydney Zodiacs stands as the only exclusively Junior Youth Dragon Boating club in NSW, fostering a culture of inclusivity and acceptance. In the physically and mentally demanding sport of Dragon Boating, where up to 20 paddlers must synchronise with precision, our club thrives on equality, diversity and embracing all members.

Our inclusive community includes girls, boys, young people of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals that are differently abled mentally and physically, neurodiverse individuals, and members from various cultural and linguistic communities.

Having dedicated ourselves to the sport, our club has earned the opportunity to compete against International teams in the 14th IDBF Club Crew World Championships (CCWC) held every two years, set to unfold in Ravenna, Italy, come September 2024. Comprising of paddlers aged 10-24, our talented crew aspires to shine on the global stage representing not only Australia but their communities and their hard work.

To make this dream a reality for the team, we are embarking on a fundraising campaign to assist families in covering essential expenses such as entry and registration fees, competition travel insurance, and travel uniforms. By shouldering these costs as a club, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on families, allowing them to focus on their own travel expenses. Our goal is to make this extraordinary opportunity accessible to as many young paddlers as possible. Your support will play a vital role in empowering these young athletes to compete, excel, and create lasting memories on the world stage.

From every young paddler at Sydney Zodiacs who aspires to paddle against other youth clubs from around the world in September in Italy, Thank You.
