Taisiya is a 14-year-old junior international rhythmic gymnast selected to represent Australia, competing in the Portimao International Tournament in May. This has been a childhood dream that fueled the passion Taisiya has for rhythmic gymnastics and has brought her to where she is today.

When Taisiya found out that she had been selected to compete on a world stage she was starstruck - and is now in the process of preparing and training with more intensity than ever.

Taisiya started her gymnastics journey very young. At the age of five, she started artistic gymnastics, but when she turned seven she decided to pursue rhythmic gymnastics- and soon enough fell in love with the sport.

Taisiya has represented Western Australia at the Australian National Championships every year since 2020, achieved state champion status in several divisions and recently competed in Singapore for the Bianka Panova Cup, where she placed 9th overall - an impressive result for her first international competition.

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport where athletes require self-motivation, perseverance and passion. All costs are to be covered by the individual- this involves flights, competition fees, coach fees, training fees, uniforms, apparatus and more.
