Tash Bryant and Maddy McLeay 49erFX Olympic Campaign
Your donation is supporting Tash Bryant and Maddy McLeay
Tash and Maddy have recently joined forces to campaign in the 49erFX Olympic Class. They are both young, talented and determined to become the best of the best.
They are currently gearing up for a long European summer of training and racing in Santander, Marseille, and Belgium, before leading into the World Championships in The Hague, in August.
Tash is an extremely talented sailor and has already achieved significant milestones in her sailing career, winning the U19 Youth World Championship at only 15 years old, becoming Female Sailor of the Year in 2018, and qualifying Australia for the 2020 Olympics in the 49erFX class at 17. In 2022 she became the youngest member of the Australian Sail GP team. She has considerable experience on the Olympic circuit in the 49erFX Skiff Class where she qualified Australia for Tokyo 2020 as well as competing on the IQFoil for the last few years.
After achieving high levels of success in youth sailing, Maddy made the jump into Olympic sailing in late 2021, stepping into the 49erFX. She has been training hard since then, and after competing in her first European circuit and learning from the best in the world, her passion and drive to become one of them is stronger than ever. Both determined and dedicated, Maddy brings a fresh approach to this team as they push to set a new precedent on and off the water.
Join them on their campaign by showing your support and making a tax-deductible donation of $2 or more, through this fundraising campaign with the Australian Sports Foundation. Donations are greatly appreciated and help with equipment purchases, maintenance, and training and travelling expenses.
Every donation is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for your support!
