The time has come for me to emerge from the shadows and forge my own path in the world of sports, just as my father did before me. I'm ready to make a name for myself and leave my own lasting legacy. As Australia’s second ever female Paralympic judoka I aim to become australia's maiden female para-judoka medallist.
I have a clear vision for an extraordinary decade-long journey, marked by:
- Competing in the prestigious IBSA Judo World Games
- Taking on the world's best at International Grand Prix events
- Embarking on an unforgettable Olympic quest, spanning three consecutive Games Paris 2024, La 2028 and Brisbane 2032.
This campaign will be a defining chapter in my judo career, filled with challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable moments.
As I set my sights on qualifying for the LA 2028 Paralympics, I plan to compete in numerous IBSA Grand Prix events over the next four years. These international competitions are vital for my qualification journey, as Australia unfortunately does hold any Para Judo events. By participating in these Grand Prix events, I'll gain essential experience and points to qualify.
Over the next four years I will finally have the chance to engage in a series of valuable domestic and international training camps. These camps will be instrumental in my growth and success, allowing me to refine my skills, learn from top coaches and athletes, and gain the competitive edge I need to excel on the judo mat.
As a committed full-time athlete, I'm grappling with the pressing issue of rising living costs, which are significantly impacting my ability to fund the essential elements of my sport: travel, training, and judo equipment. Your generous support through donations would make a huge difference in helping me offset these expenses, enabling me to concentrate on my training and competition preparations without the burden of financial stress. Your contribution would be a valuable investment in my athletic journey, allowing me to focus on achieving my goals and representing my country with pride.
I am reaching out to seek your support in making this dream a reality. Competing at the highest levels of this sport involves significant financial investment, covering costs such as:
- Training and Coaching: Access to world-class coaching and intensive training programs to hone my skills and reach peak performance.
- Equipment: High-quality training and competition Gi’s that meet IJF standards and are essential for competitions.
- Travel and Accommodation: Expenses for traveling to national and international competitions, training camps, and qualification events.
- Competition Fees: Entry fees for participating in qualifying events, national championships, and international competitions leading up to the Olympics and World Games.
Your support would be invaluable in helping me cover these significant costs and make my dreams a reality.
I am excited to be part of the Aussie Athlete Fund – $1million challenge
