The Riversdale Golf Club is facing unprecedented challenges as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Whilst we have welcomed the government’s funding initiatives, many of the Club’s staff have been either ineligible for funding or have been receiving far less than their normal income. As a result, many staff with ongoing financial commitments have been experiencing hardship.
For many years Riversdale Members have shown their generosity by supporting the staff gratuity fund on a regular basis – however whilst there has been little or no activity at the Club the accumulated donations are well down on previous years. Staff have always been very thankful after the funds are distributed to them towards the end of the year in advance of the festive season, and we would like to keep this going if possible – especially this year.
The Riversdale Golf Club Staff Support Fund has been created to support our staff during this difficult time, and relies on individual donations from Members and others who are able to assist.
Through the Club's fundraising partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, donations to this vital support fund are tax-deductible. So, if you are able to contribute, it would be very much appreciated.
