UQWPC is registered with the Australian Sports Foundation, which has been helping grassroots clubs like ours make the most of fundraising.

As the oldest water polo club in Queensland, celebrating 60 years in 2023, UQWPC is committed to providing a pathway for junior and senior players as well as social and competitive opportunities. UQWPC is committed to the development of all our players across all age groups.

UQWPC provides high quality training for all players, building on the strength and development of our coaching staff to lead and promote players to progress towards elite athlete programs at all levels of the competition. This coming season the club has a number of goals, that it is working towards in promoting water polo across Brisbane and surrounding catchment areas. Your donation will support our grassroots programs attracting, developing and progressing players towards State, National and Australia teams. UQWPC has numerous elite players representing at all levels of the competition within Australia and around the World.

UQWPC's success in the past 3-5 years has been through a committed community focusing on development of our junior players, building on the strengths of our senior players through coaching and mentoring. A number of successful training development and skill-based training camps have been well attended.

Projects:

·       To encourage the development of, support of, further the interests of, promote and support water polo in our community

·       To ensure our players/teams have access to team equipment (balls, caps and training equipment)

·       To establish a strength and conditioning program on land to compliment water based activities

·       To facilitate pathways to representative water polo including elite pathways local, State, National and Australian team levels.
