The club has an aged and inefficient irrigation system which is well over 30 years old and needs replacement to meet future requirements. Best and most efficient use of water is critical for large area sporting facilities, especially those with manicured areas such as golf courses, and the club has embarked on a program of raising funds to replace the current system. The option for members and the community to make donations is seen as an important source of both revenue and ownership of the project, as it will contribute to the well being of the community by offering better sporting facilities. The club is a semi private facility with community and visitor access, and currently hosts nearby schools with development programs in an endeavour to grow the game going forward. Through the Australian Sports Foundation, any donation over $2 is tax deductible and would be greatly appreciated.
