In just a few short weeks, I will be lucky enough to travel to Shepparton, Victoria, with a team of South Australia’s best hockey players from regional areas. For two full weeks, we have the opportunity to compete against other states who have traveled across the country for the same opportunity.

2023 has been a huge year for me, starting uni, moving more than 5 hours away from home, leaving my work with an abundance of dogs, to trade out for a local high school, not only continuing to play Premier League hockey for Grange, but joining Tigers Division 1 team in Mt Gambier, and then continuing to play both each weekend.

It’s been a few years since I participated in a national tournament, and last year was the perfect chance for me to do so- and enjoy it. I’m so lucky to have that chance again, and would be devastated if I were unable to afford this opportunity.
