Help support Tristan for his upcoming trip towards the Gold Coast for the 2023 Australian Age Swimming Championships from 7-15 April!

My name is Tristan Lin and I am 14 years old and currently attend Perth Modern School as a Year 9 Student. I am also currently a member of Riverton Aquanauts Swimming Club and have been vigorously training for up to 7 days a week for the last 7 years. As an elite competitive swimmer, I am aware of the hard work, determination and grit that is necessary to reach my dream of representing Australia at the Olympics. However, I am committed and prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve my dream. I have already demonstrated the ability to persevere and excel in both my studies and sport as I was able to be accepted into WA’s fully academically-selective high school – Perth Modern.

Any financial assistance from you will be greatly appreciated as it will contribute to my expenses (air fares, entry fees, accommodation) involved with competing and travelling to the Gold Coast. I believe that the opportunity to compete for WA will provide a greater platform and the needed exposure to further improve my skills as a swimmer. My goal is to qualify for as many finals as possible; if not, win a medal for our state. I hope that I can inspire others to work hard to achieve their dream and demonstrate that it is possible for young people to achieve excellence in both studies and sports.
