We have exciting news! We are looking for support to help fund Essence's Inline Hockey success.

Essence is a 10 year old country girl born in Albury NSW and moved to Geelong to begin her schooling. Essence comes from a background of gymnastics and dance,however ventured into inline hockey with the hope of figure skating. 

We are a young family and did not anticipate Essence excelling in this sport at such a rapid pace. Essence trains with adults on Monday nights, plays pee wee's on Tuesday nights and is one of the youngest to play intermediates on Wednesday nights which include adult goal keepers and players aged up to 15. 

Essence attended the State Championships at Moe earlier this year resulting in Essence's team being undefeated and taking home gold.

Essence continued to develop her skills throughout the year and progressed into trialling out for the Victorian under 9’s state team and was successfully selected. The Victorian team is not gender based. Training with the Victorian team will result in driving from Geelong to Melbourne and Moe every weekend for the next 8 weeks.

The Nationals are being held in the Victorian and Queensland school holidays in September at Logan, 2023.

We are looking for donations to support a young female athlete to participate in the National Inline Hockey Championships and her future successes. We would be ever so grateful if you could consider donating to help us reach her goal of $10,000 which would contribute towards:

• Registration fees
• Insurance
• Equipment & uniforms
• Accommodation & travel
• Professional training
