About the project

In 2018, The University of Melbourne Baseball club celebrates 92 years.

We have a proud history, yet there’s no single place where our history has been collected and displayed.

To rectify this, we’ve spent the last 12 months pulling together the full list of club honours across our 92 year history, and now we’re set to build the first UMBC honour board, to celebrate our club and the people who have made it what it is today.

The honour board will be hosted at The Clyde Hotel, where it'll sit proudly in the main bar - what better place to relive past premierships and IV triumphs!

We’re incredibly excited about this project, but it won’t be cheap - 92 years of history entails many names.

Construction and installation of the UMBC honour boards will cost the club around $7,000. To make this project come to life, we’re asking UMBC members and alumni to make a generous (and tax deductible) contribution to fund construction.

Supporters who help to make the honour board a reality by contributing $500 or more will be prominently recognised on the board and in club communications.

Thanks for your ongoing support of The University of Melbourne Baseball Club.
