Founded in 1977, the Unley High School Rowing Club is one of the largest rowing clubs in South Australia. The Club has a proud history of participation and results at both a local and national level. Recent successes include 9 Podium Crews at the 2024 Head of the River Regatta including winning the Year 9 Schoolboy and Schoolgirl A Coxed Quads along with 13 A-Finalists at the 2024 Australian Rowing Championships including 3 Podiums - 2 Silver (U19W4-, OLM4-), 1 Bronze (SG4+)

We are seeking to raise $50,000 for the purchase of oars and boats for use across our entire program. We hope to raise these funds via donations, sponsorships and community fundraising events.

Funds raised in 2023 were utilized in the purchase of new coxed quads and oars that were used by a number of our winning, podium and A-Finalist crews at the 2024 State Championships, Head of the River and National Championships. In 2024, funds will be utilised to faciiatte the purchase of new Boys and Girls 1st 8+ Oars, Stroke Coaches and a new 8+. 

All funds over $2 donated to the Unley High School Rowing Club Development Fund via the Australian Sports Foundation are tax deductible.

EOFY 2024 Oar Drive

Currently the Unley High School Rowing Club is focusing on an Oar Drive, to raise funds for 2 sets of Eight Oars).

Navy Tier

For a donation of $500, you will;

• Have your donation recognised on one of the new oars.
• Receive a refurbished ornamental UHS rowing oar (you may elect to choose a different colour than the UHS blue).
• Recieve a thank certificate from Unley High School Rowing
• Receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Sky Tier

For a donation of $250, you will;

• Have your donation recognised on one of the new oars (in combination with one other donor).
• Recieve a thank certificate from Unley High School Rowing
• Receive a tax-deductible receipt.

White Tier

For all other donations, you will;

• Recieve a thank certificate from Unley High School Rowing
• Receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Following you donation and the completion of the financial year we will contact you by email to confirm you choice of;

• Oar side and type for recognition (where possible)
• Ornamental oar side and colour (Navy Tier only)
