About the project

The home of the WA Rowing Club is a beautiful, heritage-listed 115-year-old building we are lucky to have. The club has a responsibility to maintain the building to ensure it remains a jewel on the Swan River foreshore.

The major priority for our home fund this year is the replacement of the timber deck between the clubhouse and the foreshore.

The funds for this project must be provided by the club through donations, fundraising and in-kind support. Maintaining the front deck is a priority for the club to ensure a safe environment for club members, cafe patrons and the general public. Heritage funding will also be applied for for this initiative.

Go westies! I got married in this building and rowed for several years. I hope my own kids can admire this beautiful building in the future and know that our society does value its heritage.

I rowed with WARC LTR while on sabbatical in Perth in March 2015 and it was a life affirming experience. Let's get this done, Westies!
