The West End State School (WESS) oval is a vital space for the 850 students who attend the school. It’s a space for running, playing, building, imagining, and enjoying the sunshine.
After years of heavy South East Queensland weather and 100s of feet trampling the ground every school day, the WESS oval is in dire need for an upgrade.
Your support will directly go towards the costs of the oval upgrade and maintanence.
In 2018, WESS P&C and the School Management plan to completely refurbish the school sporting oval to return the oval to a prestine and safe recreational and sporting facility.

What we are seeking
We are seeking financial support to assist WESS resurface the oval to remove unsafe lumps and bumps, plant more resilient turf, and improve the irrigation.
The total cost of the oval upgrade is $300,000 which we aim to generate through donations, fundraising, and sponsorship.
