Two Blues Juniors Player Fund:

At Two Blues we understand the financial stress that comes with being a junior rugby player, and this fund has been set up to support financially disadvantaged kids in Western Sydney play representative rugby at club, district, regional and state levels.

We already see many girls and boys from Western Sydney performing at elite levels. We want to continue to see them grow and play rugby in the West and provide every opportunity for them to pursue their dreams of playing rugby at an elite level.

We are seeking to provide $6,000 annually to provide full and part scholarships to approximately 10% of our 250-300 representative players. This money will supplement fees for playing representative rugby at State Championships, Sydney Juniors and costs associated with school and state rugby honours. Donations will give players who have fought hard for selection, the opportunity to compete.

$250 will pay for a single athlete’s fees to play at state championships. On top of that families will pay club fees, travel and accommodation costs to compete in venues across the state, as well as additional fees for making higher honours.

All money will be kept separate from the general account, audited independently, and applied directly to supplement player fees for families requiring financial support.
