Alex Clarke is currently Wests Tigers Senior Athletic Performance Coach and has spent over two decades dedicating his life to professional sports, displaying unmatched passion and integrity on and off the field. Prior to joining Wests Tigers, Alex has spent time across both the AFL and NRL clubs at the Brisbane Lions, Hawthorn Football Club, St George Illawarra Dragons, Cronulla Sharks and most recently with the Fiji Bati in the Pacific Championships.

In April 2024, Alex was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour and is now facing one of his toughest challenges. Over the past 12 months, Alex has continued to support the Wests Tigers players with his expertise to be the best athletes they can be, all the while, remaining a devoted husband and loving father focused on creating lasting memories with his wife and two boys.
