I started gymnastics at the age of 7 because my older sister was so passionate about gym I decided to give it a go. I definitely wasn’t the best but I always wanted to be. I had some natural talent but most of all I worked really hard and persevered through tough times to get to where I am today. I placed third overall at Nationals this year and took home a silver on pommel and parallel bars and bronze on floor and rings. This was after sustaining a concussion just a few weeks before. My Nationals performance gave me the opportunity to train at the AIS and now to qualify for my first international competition in Austria. There is nothing I want more than to represent my country doing what I love best!
